Hello!
I’m Emily, a recent graduate in Media Studies and Marketing at the University of Denver. I'm more excited than ever to explore new opportunities in film and social media marketing. During my time at university, I developed a strong foundation in both creative and analytical work. I learned how to think critically about media, understand audiences, and create content with intention
I am driven by creativity and building connection. Whether thats finding strategic ways to connect with target audiences or collaborating with local bands to create music videos. I've recently been attending film festivals for my documentary "Riot Grrrl: Denver's Punk Rebellion" which explores Riot Grrrl culture in Denver, from the 90s to todays underground female punk scene. The film has received recognition for Best Media Composition in the Royal Gorge Film Fest and Best Documentary at the Castle Rock Film Festival.
In my free time I enjoy the beauty of Colorado by hiking and watching sunrises (usually with a camera in hand), and I'm always looking for a good concert to go to. I’m currently looking for opportunities in marketing, social media, and photography or film where I can continue to grow, contribute creatively, and be part of meaningful work.
